There is a lot to do at Kew, with each season offering new attractions. They offer interactive active play with many exciting natural attractions which are great for little scientists. Bring along a magnifying glass and some crayons for a fun packed day. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Kew website here.

9. Paint a stain glass window at home

This is a super creative and colourful activity to do at home which is great for the summer sun. You can cover your window with perspex and use some glass paint which you can buy here from amazon here!
We love Christ centred activities and learning about the Saints and iconography. Check out these colouring pages for inspiration available on the Catholic Crate website here.

10. Make a sensory beach for water play

A sensory beach is a great way for your little ones to get some sensory play and you can use all edible things to make everything. You will need Cheerios for the sand and make some blue jelly for the sea. We suggest popping some toy fish and fun beach objects in the jelly for your child to fish out. We love these inflatable play trays for 3-12 months available here and the height adjustable play trays fro 1-3 year olds available here.

11. Have a Smores and story telling sleepover in your bedroom!

Have a story telling evening, pick some favourite stories and also have some story telling games ready. We love this story telling game available from amazon here!
For the Smores you will need some yummy graham crackers or your choice of biscuit, chocolate and some Marshamallows. See our how to make Smore at home here!
